Pilates at S2S

What is Stott Pilates?

 
STOTT PILATES is the contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. It is the world’s most respected Pilates brand. The founders of this method worked very closely with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and exercise science professionals setting this approach worlds apart from other techniques. This has resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and most effective methods available. Not to mention Stott Pilates is FUN to do! The infinite possibilities of progression through Pilates equipment will continue to challenge your mind and body.

Sessions

Privates
Individual training sessions lasting 55 minutes. These sessions are intense and hands on; designed to develop maximal skill. The sessions are individualized to meet the goals and expectations of each client according to his specific needs. It is here that one will achieve their fullest potential.  There are infinite possibilities with the utilization of all pieces of equipment, large and small during private sessions. It is recommended that one enrolls in atleast three private sessions prior to joining a group session.

Duo
Two clients share a 55 minute session.  These sessions can also incorporate many different types of equipment, both large and small.  Each instructor is trained to modify exerices or positions as needed.  Sessions are designed to achieve both clients individual goals. 

Group
This session will consist of up to five clients and last 55 minutes. A group setting is challenging, fun and fast-paced, yet less intense than a private or duo session. This session will allow development of thorough pilates background. Here, increased skill is proportional to personal motivation. We offer reformer, mat, and cardio enhanced group sessions. The client must have completed the Private Orientation session or at least 3 privates prior to participating in a group session. Please see
